WarmestRegards.org was born from a simple idea: everyone could use a little encouragement now and then. Sometimes, the words we need most are the ones we’ve been hearing all along, but we’ve tuned them out. As parents, we see this play out all the time with our kids. How many times do we tell them they’re amazing, they’re on the right track, or they’re simply without-a-doubt fantastic human beings? And how often does it take someone else—a teacher, a coach, or even a stranger—to say the exact same thing before they act like it’s the first time they’ve ever heard it? They hear you, but they don’t really hear you. Ya hear me?
This got us thinking about our relationships with family, friends, coworkers—you name it. We noticed the same pattern everywhere. Encouraging words often fail to land with the people you want them to land with most, and we wanted to create a platform that could help make those words stick.
Enter WarmestRegards.org: part social experiment (do other people want to share anonymous words of encouragement?), part creative challenge (how can we use our skills to make kindness easier?), and part leap of faith. We don’t know exactly where this journey will take us, but we’re excited to see how far it goes, what surprises pop up, and who gets inspired along the way.
